Smartphones are powerful tools that help you stay in touch, get information, and enjoy entertainment. This guide will walk you through the basics using simple steps.
1. Turning the Phone On or Off
- To turn on: Press and hold the power button on the side until the screen lights up.
- To turn off: Press and hold the same button, then slide the “power off” option on the screen.
Tip: Some phones need you to press both the side and volume button to power off.
2. Making a Phone Call
- Find and tap the green Phone app on the home screen.
- Tap “Keypad” to dial a number or “Contacts” to choose someone saved.
- Press the green call button to start the call.
3. Sending a Text Message
- Tap the Messages or Text app icon.
- Press the “New Message” button (+ or pencil icon).
- Type in a phone number or choose from your contacts.
- Type your message and press the send button (usually a paper plane or arrow).
4. Installing an App
